In my current artwork, I’ve been exploring printmaking. My process is spontaneous, often beginning with on-the-spot landscape sketches that capture the essence of time, weather, and our deep connection with the environment. I am particularly fascinated with ancient landscapes, drawn to their timeless appeal and the stories they reveal through the ages.

Back in my studio, these initial sketches are my starting point. Here, I begin a journey which allows both the printmaking process and my imagination to guide me. It’s an exploration in which I work at creating just the right mood and atmosphere until I’m content with the result.

One of the joys of printmaking, for me, lies in its built-in unpredictability. I love the moments of anticipation as each piece emerges from the press, enjoying the happy accidents and unexpected surprises that often define the final outcome. It’s an appealing blend of technique and chance that keeps me endlessly inspired and eager to see what unfolds next.
